Salt and Sand
With the aim of getting at least one photo for my friend Rimisihe’s EP “Sal e Areia”,
we met in Peniche and let things flow , there were no plans, no mood board, no script, nothing at all. We just needed to get a photo for the EP cover.
Armed with three medium format cameras, a Hasselblad 500CM, a Bronica ETRS, and a Mamiya RB67 Pro-S , the goal was achieved!
Cinematic vibe!! Made with Mamiya RB67 Pro-S and Cinestill 800T
Three different films were used: Fuji Pro 160S, Lomo Color ’92 Sun-Kissed, and Cinestill 800T.
This mix of films was chosen with the goal of achieving a more artistic and distinctive look.
Some were only converted to black and white.
About the EP “Sal e Areia”, in Rimisihe’s own words:
“Sal e Areia” — A summer romance that tells of the pleasure of the open road, the places we pass through that captivate us, the unexpected encounters that enrich the soul, and the fleeting nostalgia that arises when we follow different paths from those we’ve grown fond of. A cycle of summers marked by the joy of an open mind and by feelings that nourish us and help us grow as human beings.
