I’m Bruno Novais — born in Almeirim, that sun-warmed town known for `Sopa Da Pedra` and its melons, and quietly generous with talent. Now living in Santarém, I’m ready to travel anywhere the story asks me to.

Photography and music grew up together in me; they still walk hand in hand. I play in a rock band of original songs called ‘Drivingwest’, and that same restless creativity fuels every frame I make.

I photograph everything because every session is a new conversation , no repetition, only discovery. I aim to deliver work that feels alive, deliberate and original.

About 90% of my work is on film; the remainder is digital. Why film? Because film carries a particular magic, grain as memory, colour as mood, a gentle nostalgia that fills me and shapes how I see. My approach moves between documentary, portraits, editorial and landscape, always searching for truth, texture and a little surprise.

If you want images with soul, curiosity and a touch of the unexpected, let’s make something unique.

His work feels both cinematic and deeply personal, as if every image were a memory half-remembered, yet impossible to forget.

Bruno Novais captures what many photographers overlook: the poetry of the ordinary.
His vision dissolves the line between reality and reverie, offering images that feel suspended in time — intimate, honest, and quietly transcendent.
